A double-sided bench stone is not only more convenient to carry (one stone instead of two), but its money saver too! Theyll sharpen, hone and lap, all types of woodworking tools including knives, chisels, plane blades, gouges, and carbide router bits. Extra fine is 1200, fine is 600, coarse is 325 and extra course is 220 grit. Stones measure 8" x 2-5/8" and 10" x 4". Includes a non-skid mat to prevent slipping on work surface.

The DMT Dual 10-inch is finally the one - I am glad the search is over.Easy to use [ once you practice and get the movement right - recommend that you practice on old knifes first before you attempt sharpening your $200 chef knife ]Gets the job done in only a few minutes.I have used it on Kitchen knifes, expensive damascus pocket knifes and even on a 3G Steel [very hard steel]Hunting Knife - got the job done on each one of them.I am beyond pleased - ready to go for the extra fine stone now - just to see how much more a knife can improve.Great product, quick delivery - as advertised.[even the base is not bad to use - recommend that you get it)Good luch and sharpen with caution. With two sides I can do just about all I need without fear of burning, unless I want a polished edge. After buying any number of "pro" quality stones, sticks, machines and gadgets, I should have saved my time and money and bought this to begin with, Id have saved a mint.
Great product;much better than the original DMT Bench Stones.The extra widthreally helps when sharpening plane irons.
Beats sharpening stones hands down.I will purchase the extra fine/extra coarse stone soon.Would definitely buy the base to go with the stone.Its about 4" wide which makes it useful for plane blades. Fantastic product.
Get a coarse, fine and extra fine stone to dress those tools to perfection. Excellent product for honing a perfect edge for those hand tools.
